Golf Tournament Summary

Thank you to all the sponsors and golfers who contributed to making the Kingsway/Make-A-Wish Golf Tournament such a big success.  Held on June 4th at Mohawk Golf Club, the 21st annual tournament raised $25,000 for the children of the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Northeast New York.

Ninety golfers played 18 holes of golf in the on-and-off showers that day.  Major sponsors included Arthur J. Gallagher Insurance, Mobile Imaging, Marvin and Company, M & T Bank, Gremlin Medical Supply, Park Building Supplies, Sysco, Bailey, Haskell & Lolonde Agency, Great Electric Group, Harmony Healthcare International, Mohawk Ambulance Service, Northeast Information Systems, Omnicare/Royalcare, Perretta Painting, Rocco Rescelo & Son Plumbing and Heating, TPL Flooring and Tuczinski, Cavalier, Gilchrist and Collura, PC.

NewsChannel 13 anchor Benita Zahn was the Honorary Chair of the event.  She played golf and after dinner addressed the group to thank them for their participation and generosity.  A Wish Child who benefited from funds raised at last year's tournament, also addressed the group to speak about the Wish she received and how it impacted not only her life, but also the lives of her entire family.

All in all, it was another successful golf tournament due to the many generous sponsors and participants.  Thank you!  Hope to see you all next year!
