APF benefits from Kingsway fundraiser

In 2012 the staff of Kingsway Arms Nursing and Rehabilitation Center began a fundraiser to benefit the Animal Protective Foundation. During the month of May, employees donate themed gift baskets to be raffled off at the end of the month. These gift baskets, as well as pet supplies, are generally donated by individual staff members or groups of staff, with each basket valued between $60 to $100.

This annual event is done in memory of our friend and co-worker Deborah Carey, LPN, who was a pet lover and volunteer at the local APF. This year, the gift basket raffle raised $1,285. Overall, Kingsway has raised almost $4,000 to benefit the Animal Protective Foundation.
