Update Regarding Kingsway Manor Assisted Living and Memory Care

March 12, 2020 - 5:30pm to April 30, 2020 - 5:45pm

To reduce the risk of community transmission, Kingsway Manor Assisted Living and Memory Care will proactively modify its visitation policy as follows:

Effective 8:00pm on March 12, 2020, visiting hours at Kingsway Manor Assisted Living and Memory Care are suspended until further notice.

While we continue to have no suspected or confirmed cases anywhere at Kingsway Community, we have independently decided to restrict visitors to our assisted living and memory care facility, in addition to Kingsway Arms Nursing Center,  as they may introduce COVID-19 infection into our facility.  Kingsway Manor residents and visitors will have access to alternate remote visitation options such as, phone calls, FaceTime, and Skype.  Staff will be available assist residents in accessing these options.

Kingsway Manor residents will still receive services from essential outside providers. Visitation to Kingsway Manor will be permitted for exceptional cases, such as during the end of life.  Please contact social services to make arrangements.

There is no modification to the process of Kingsway Manor residents leaving the building.  Kingsway Manor visitors are welcome to meet residents at the front entrance.  Staff are happy to escort residents to the appropriate location.  Staff are here to support residents and families in staying connected.  Thank you so much for your cooperation with these modifications.  We will resume visitation when it is reasonable and prudent to do so, yet we cannot anticipate how long this suspension will be in place.
