Meet Our Team

Brenda Scovello Seeber
Administrator

Brenda has been in the health care profession for over 36 years and has been at Kingsway Manor for 17 years. She holds a Nursing degree and a Public Administration degree from The Sage Colleges and is a Certified Assisted Living Administrator. Brenda serves on the Executive Board of Directors as Chair for the New York State Center for Assisted Living and is a former member of the Assisted Living Committee for the Empire State Association of Assisted Living. In addition, she is the New York State representative to the National Center for Assisted Living.

Brenda enjoys working at Kingsway Community because the owners truly emulate the importance of caring for our residents in the "Family Tradition."

Cheryl Thomas
Resident Services Director

Cheryl has worn many hats since joining the Kingsway team in 2006. Currently the Resident Services Director at Kingsway Manor Assisted Living, Cheryl has also been a Nurse Manager and Director of Nursing at Kingsway Arms Nursing Center.

She is a graduate of Ellis Hospital School of Nursing where she earned her Associate's Degree in Science. Cheryl truly believes in the Kingsway motto "Caring in the Family Tradition" and dedicates herself to making the lives of our residents more fulfilled each and every day.

Ann Marie Robinson
Admissions Coordinator - Assisted Living

In addition to being Admissions Coordinator at Kingsway Manor Assisted living, Ann Marie is also a Social Worker.

She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Siena College and has been in long term care with the senior population for over 27 years. 

A part of the Kingsway family since 1997, Ann Marie has held positions on campus in Skilled Nursing, Independent Living and now Assisted Living. She enjoys interacting with the residents in a caring and compassionate way to help make a positive difference in their lives.

Sarah Countermine
Director of Dining Services

Sarah has been a part of the Kingsway family for 25 years, first working at Kingsway Arms Nursing Center while attending college. She has an Associate of Applied Sciences Degree in Hotel Technology from Schenectady Community College where she studied the culinary arts, nutrition and hotel and restaurant management.

As Director of Dining Services at Kingsway Manor, Sarah enjoys leading the dietary staff and working with residents to ensure delicious, nutritious meals that they will love!

Katie George
Senior Living Specialist

After over 26 years in the corporate business world, Katie discovered her true passion – working with seniors. For the past 5 years, Katie has been helping seniors navigate through the changes that occur as they move from one independent situation to another. She is thrilled to call Kingsway her home.

Katie holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Siena College where she also concentrated in Psychology and Sociology. She has an extensive background in customer service and client relationship management. Katie has also served on the Board of Directors at a local senior center.
